Hace dos domingos que no comparto enlaces. La verdad es que no había mucho que compartir ya que me tomé unas vacaciones reales y no pasé mucho tiempo en Internet.

De lo que me enteré en esas tres semanas, una de las cosas más interesantes y bien logradas fue el siguiente comercial falso:

• Google Image Search: Recursively: Iniciando con una imagen transparente, esta persona puso a Google a buscar imagenes similares, una tras la otra, y hizo un vídeo del resultado.
• Stem: lemon juice sprayer: Sáquele el jugo a sus limones sin tener que cortarlos. [vía kottke.org]
• Botas Vaqueras Exóticas: No sé qué decir de esto. Interesante.
• Fotoshop by Adobé: Una parodia sobre los productos de belleza, muy bien lograda.
• gAtari – Atari 2600 chipmusic project by cTrix: No sé quién está más loco, si el creador del instrumento, o sus seguidores.

It’s funny how effective a promise to myself can be. I promised to write every day of the month of November (starting on the 7th), and I did. But after that I have written very little here.

• Life after the end of economic growth: pensar que el crecimiento económico es ilimitado es una ilusión. Pero a mí lo que me hacen falta son las soluciones para cambiar ese modelo. El artículo sólo señala la ilusión, pero sé que el autor tiene todo un libro sobre el tema.
• The history of English: de cómo nacen las palabras en el Inglés.
• Decide.com: algoritmos de minería de datos aplicados al problema de la compra de aparatos electrónicos. ¿Cuándo es el mejor momento para comprar?
• Little Printer: Una pequeña impresora conectada a Internet, muy bien diseñada.
• Neil deGrasse Tyson interviewed by Stephen Colbert: este enlace ha estado apareciéndome por todos lados. Todavía tengo que encontrar el tiempo para ver el vídeo. Gracias a Matt ODonnell.

I have been posting these links of the week for about three years, always in Spanish. Let’s switch to English for a change.

Being a big fan of To-Do lists, the link I would like to feature is an an article at an NPR science blog that talks about an upcoming book about Leonardo DaVinci. Specifically, the article shows the translation of one of Leonardo’s To-Do lists. Very inspiring and awesome:

La revista the Atlantic tiene una muy buena colección de fotos que están participando en el concurso de fotografía de la revista National Geographic para este año:
