Cualquiera que me conoce bien sabe que la mayoría de mis decisiones, sobretodo las económicas, están basadas en un frío y detallado análisis. Para comprar mi primera guitarra, duré algunas tres semanas buscando información en internet. Para decidir la universidad a la que iría a ser mi maestría, duré cerca de 4 meses. El apartamento en el que vivimos ahora: 1 mes.
Para tomar una decisión de ese tipo, tengo que estudiar todas las opciones, y convertirme en un conocedor del area. Así que para comprar el carro, tomé la misma receta de siempre. Empecé a buscar a mediados de septiembre y compré el carro el sábado pasado: 1 mes y medio.
Como la historia es larga, la voy a dividir en varias partes, y voy a empezar por una primera advertencia: si una oferta parece demasiado buena para ser verdad, muy probablemente lo es.
Para ejemplificar el caso, les dejo aquí con dos anuncios clasificados que encontré en internet, y las respuestas que ofrecieron los anunciantes cuando los contacté:

Y por último, hay que “ponerse chivo” (término dominicano para sugerir duda y poca confianza) cuando el vendedor dice que está lejos y que quiere el pago por adelantado para enviar el carro.
